Jacob Lampman's first original project after performing as a sideman for years (Joel Sires, Swamp Donkey) combines jazz, pop, and rock into a sound that defies labels. With a unique instrumentation, Ego Death entertains instrumentalists and songwriters alike. Signature flute and guitar arrangements blend folk and jazz.

The songs of keyboardist Matt Jesson (Brother Trucker, Left Is West, Bellyard), who just released his first solo album in 2023 Departure. Andy Fleming, singer/songwriter for the veteran Iowa Roots Rock Band Brother Trucker and last but by no means least, Matt Cullen. Cullen best known for lead guitarist work (the Sighs, Lloyd Cole, Ware River Club, Stuttering Jimmy and the Goosebumps) steps out front and center with his songs. It’s a unique evening of music presented with the songs way out in front. Couched by fellow songwriters creating a focused, dynamic performance of each other’s work.
