Jon Lee and the Apparitions are a Roots Rock, Rhythm, and Blues band based out of Savannah, Georgia. Vocalist and guitarist, Jon Lee Murphy, draws influence from Stax and Motown singers like Marvin Gaye and Al Green; as well as Paul Rodgers of Free and James Dewar of Robin Trower. His guitar influences include Paul Kossoff, Robin Trower, Dickey and Duane, Mike Campbell of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, as well as B.B., Buddy, and Albert. The band has been cutting their teeth for many years in the Savannah bar scene and will be releasing their debut album titled Next Town this Spring.
