The 21st Century’s most popular and prolific soul party, NY Night Train Soul Clap and Dance-Off features vital live bands, dancing to the soul 45s of DJ legend Jonathan Toubin, and a Dance Contest determined by a jury of notable judges. It's the first dance party with its own night at Lincoln Center’s Midsummer Night’s Swing, the first dance party with an entire dedicated night at South By Southwest ( the festival’s official annual closing party for nearly a decade), and the only party with its own compilations on the classic Norton Records imprint - with five sold-out international volumes of its Souvenirs of the Soul Clap LP series. After an extended hiatus, Thee Clap is back for this special TV Eye edition with a constellation of stars! Make a night of it!

10PM ABBY JEANNE & THE SHADOWBAND: Prolific Milwaukee singer, songwriter, music legend, and visualartist Abby Jeanne has assembled a new all-girl supergroup featuring Toni Lynn (Josephine Network, The Voluptuous Horror of Karen Black, etc), Kim The Beat (Sloppy Jane, Miranda & The Beat, etc), and artist/musician/DJ Taylor Copeland. They've been laying down killer singles and burning up the road all over the USA with their infectious brand of soulful garage rock and exuberant live shows!
11PM DJ JONATHAN TOUBIN: Spinning his raw, wild, and unique original 7-inch vinyl sides at over 3000 gigs on five continents over the last twenty years everywhere from nightclubs and venues to parks and museums to all-ages warehouses and afterhours to dozens of major music festivals, Toubin is also internationally recognized for persistently throwing the some of the world’s most popular, prolific, and distinctive events of their kind under his New York Night Train moniker.
