•• TAKEN BY TIDES ••
Taken By Tides is a Texas-based band consisting of 4 friends, each seasoned veterans of their respective scenes, who came together during the pandemic to break the mold and redefine the world of active rock.
Consisting of vocalist Omar Martinez, guitarist Guillermo Rodriguez, bassist Jack Strunk, and drummer Jayden Castillon, Taken By Tides is the result of years of perseverance and dedication, and, in its new revitalized incarnation, a vehicle for cathartic transformation of hardships into success. With tens of thousands of views on their music videos for existing tracks including In My Dreams and You Are What Makes Me Bleed, it’s clear they’re on the right path.
Musically, Taken By Tides draws from a diverse range of traditions from metal and rock to pop and trap, channeling them through a web of influences into a unique, invigorating, and ground-shaking energizing sound, straight from its member’s core.
•• DAKOTA ••
DAKØTA is a hard-hitting three-piece rock band rising out of Iowa, blending raw emotion with walls of sound. Formed by vocalist Dakota Newcomb, guitarist Tyler Halverson, and drummer Zach Halverson, the band carves out a space where shoegaze textures collide with the intensity of modern hard rock.
DAKØTA first caught attention with their haunting reimagining of Avril Lavigne’s “I’m With You” — a bold, atmospheric cover that showcased their ability to take nostalgia and shape it into something powerful and new. The track went viral among alternative rock fans, opening the door to a wider audience drawn to the band’s signature blend of soaring vocals, crushing guitar tones, and thunderous percussion.
Inspired by the introspective weight of bands like Deftones, Bring Me The Horizon, and the immersive soundscapes of Ice Nine Kills, DAKØTA delivers a sound that’s as emotionally charged as it is sonically heavy. Their music is moody, melodic, and unapologetically loud.
With a growing fanbase and a reputation for an engaging social media presence, DAKØTA is pushing the boundaries of hard rock while staying rooted in emotion and authenticity.
•• EXECUTION DAY ••
Execution Day is one of metalcore’s best-kept secrets, emerging from Pittsburgh with a refined, alt-tinged sound that fuses melody, aggression, and anthemic hooks. Since forming in 2016, they’ve carved a name in the heavy music scene with crushing breakdowns, razor-sharp riffs, and massive, crowd-ready choruses. Sharing the stage with acts like Falling in Reverse, The Plot in You, and Like Moths to Flames, their high-energy live shows leave a lasting mark. With nods from Kerrang!, SiriusXM Octane, and producer Joey Sturgis, the band’s reach continues to grow. Studio work with Andrew Wade (A Day to Remember, Wage War), Hayden Calhoun (If Not For Me), Jonathan Dolese (Hollywood Undead, Cane Hill), and Justin deBlieck (Ice Nine Kills) showcases their dynamic, emotionally charged sound. As Execution Day gears up for a massive 2026, with new music on the way, they’re poised to become a defining force in modern metalcore—their rise is only just beginning.
•• RAIN DIVISION ••
Rain Division is a 4-piece rock band blending raw energy with genre-bending soundscapes that span pop, R&B, rock, and metalcore. Founded during the pandemic by Luke Haider (vocals) and Drew McGallian (drums), the lineup, rounded out by Chris Honesto and Vik Kovacs on guitar quickly built a reputation for their powerful live shows and unique production style that’s as dynamic as it is hard to define. Their debut EP “drive” features fierce anthems like the title track, and songs that explore the heavier side of their sound such as “your everything”.
