About Jonny Leyland: WEBSITE
Jonny Leyland is a singer, guitarist, songwriter, and live looping artist based in South Florida.
Originally from New Zealand, Jonny brings together soulful vocals, expressive guitar work, and a warm, natural stage presence shaped by more than two decades of live performance. His music lives somewhere between acoustic pop, soul, folk, classic rock, and singer-songwriter storytelling — the kind of sound that feels both familiar and personal.
As an artist, Jonny is drawn to songs with heart, melody, and meaning. Whether performing his own original music or reimagining songs by artists like Jack Johnson, John Mayer, Jason Mraz, The Beatles, Amos Lee, and Ray LaMontagne, his style is grounded, melodic, and emotionally honest.
On stage, Jonny can move easily from intimate acoustic moments to a fuller, more rhythmic sound using live looping, guitar, and vocals. That versatility has made him a sought-after performer for weddings, private events, corporate functions, restaurants, resorts, and listening-room-style performances.
Whether you discovered Jonny through his original music or are looking for the right live music for a meaningful event, his focus is the same: creating music that feels authentic, effortless, and connected to the moment.
