NYC's premiere anime jazz band Catbus Collective is making history by presenting NYC's first ever anime big band project! Featuring many in-demand NYC musicians who share a collective interest in Japanese pop, folk, anime, and video game music, the Catbus Collective has performed at numerous anime conventions around the country including Anime Expo, Kogaracon, and Setsucon, as well as venues such as Joe's Pub, Clement's Place, and Umbra, performing openings and themes ranging from old school classics to new trending shows. Expanding from its usual 7-piece configuration, the collective will be recruiting an illustrious cast of even more musicians for a full-size big band. Come hear a set of anime songs like you've never heard before!
VENUE DETAILS
The Cutting Room is New York's legendary dinner theater and event space. All shows have a $25 food and/or beverage minimum per person (unless otherwise indicated on your ticket.) Please note the ticket price goes mostly to the performers and production staff. The club sells food and beverages to continue to bring live music to NYC.
