Chiaroscuro is a monthly dance variety show that elevates all forms of movement to a theatrical realm—where contrast is not a conflict, but a conversation. And stick around after the show for a DJ'ed dance party!
This month’s theme, Ideal & Flawed, unravels the tension between perfection and imperfection. Polished lines fracture into raw, human moments; control gives way to chaos; beauty is disrupted, distorted, and redefined. What is “ideal” begins to crack under pressure, exposing the truth beneath—while what is flawed emerges as something honest, magnetic, and undeniably alive. Through this push and pull, the work questions who defines perfection, and what is lost in the pursuit of it.
Chiaroscuro is a home for misfits and outcasts, for circus bodies, dramatic souls, and artists who resist the expected. It is a space for those drawn to intensity, contradiction, and transformation—who move not just to perform, but to reach toward something larger than themselves.
