Tacoma is in for a wild one as s.e.s. presents brings Dazzling Killmen, Yellfire, and Ravenswood to Airport Tavern Music Hall for a night of jagged riffs, noisy catharsis, and heavy underground energy.
A longtime independent promoter in the Northwest, s.e.s. presents has been putting on shows in the Pacific NW since 2001, building a strong reputation for bringing punk, hardcore, experimental, and left-of-center heavy music through Tacoma.
Headlining the night is Dazzling Killmen, the influential St. Louis-area band whose short original run in the early ’90s left a huge mark on noise rock, post-hardcore, and math rock. Known for blending hardcore intensity with complex, abrasive, almost jazz-like precision, the band officially returned in 2025 after more than 30 years, making this a rare chance to catch a group that helped shape an entire lane of heavy underground music.
Also on the bill is Yellfire, a Seattle four-piece featuring members with deep roots in the Northwest heavy scene. The band’s sound pulls from post-hardcore, noise rock, and classic heavy influences, channeling artists like Botch, Cave In, and Kiss It Goodbye into something sharp, loud, and emotionally charged.
Opening the night is Ravenswood, a Tacoma-based psych-doom band with stoner-metal leanings, pulling inspiration from occult lore, cryptid mythos, and the slower, heavier side of underground rock.
They’re local, loud, and a perfect fit to set the tone for a bill like this.
If you like your live music noisy, weird, heavy, and unforgettable, this is absolutely one to catch.
