Kungs bio
Originally from Toulon, Kungs discovered his passion for music at an early age. At just 19, he scored his first global hit with This Girl, in collaboration with Cookin’ On 3 Burners. The track topped the charts in more than 45 countries, was certified fourteen times Diamond, and became one of the most searched songs on Shazam. This breakthrough catapulted the young producer onto the international stage and led to his debut album, Layers (2016), which took him to the world’s biggest festivals, from Coachella to Tomorrowland. In May 2021, Kungs embarked on a new artistic chapter with Never Going Home. A true post-lockdown anthem, the track quickly became a dancefloor classic, earning multiple certifications (Diamond in France, Double Platinum in Italy, Platinum in Poland). The single heralded Club Azur, a bright and celebratory second album infused with funk, house and Italo-disco, conceived as a tribute to club culture and the joy of partying.
Two years later, Kungs teamed up with Purple Disco Machine on Substitution, a disco-infused track with an unmistakable ’80s aesthetic, certified Diamond in March 2025. The previous summer, he released The Complete Collection, bringing together his biggest hits, a project awarded Gold status in May 2025. A few months later, he reunited with David Guetta and Izzy Bizu for All Night Long, a unifying single in the spirit of Club Azur, quickly achieving Diamond certification internationally.
In 2026, Kungs makes his highly anticipated return with OUT LOUD, a new album featuring exciting collaborations and exploring a sonic palette at the crossroads of disco, rock and French Touch. Led by the already released single Light Me Up, in collaboration with PNAU, this third album marks a new milestone in the journey of an artist in constant evolution.
