Some artists perform concerts. Lakecia Benjamin creates an experience fueled by fearless improvisation, irresistible groove, and an infectious joy that transforms the room from the very first note.
At La Rosa, audiences will experience the artist for which she has become internationally celebrated: a commanding live performer whose soaring saxophone, boundless energy, and magnetic connection with both her band and the audience make every performance feel spontaneous, deeply personal, and impossible to predict. Rooted in jazz while embracing soul, funk, and hip-hop, her music moves effortlessly between exhilarating virtuosity and moments of remarkable emotional depth.
The intimate atmosphere of La Rosa provides the perfect setting to experience Benjamin's extraordinary artistry up close. Every performance becomes a conversation—between musicians, between traditions, and between artist and audience—creating the kind of unforgettable evening that reminds us why live jazz remains one of music's most thrilling art forms.
