Linda Gail Lewis Returns to Her Old Stomping Grounds at Hernando's Hideaway
Join us for a very special evening as legendary pianist, singer, and rockabilly powerhouse Linda Gail Lewis returns to Hernando's Hideaway on Friday, July 24 at 8 PM.
Born in Louisiana and now calling Austin, Texas home, Linda Gail Lewis has spent nearly five decades lighting up stages around the world with her high-energy blend of rock 'n' roll, country, boogie-woogie, and pumping piano. The younger sister of the late Jerry Lee Lewis, Linda Gail grew up immersed in music and began her professional career at just fifteen years old.
Her remarkable recording career includes chart-topping duets with Jerry Lee Lewis, including "Don't Let Me Cross Over" and "Seasons of My Heart," as well as the acclaimed album You Win Again with Van Morrison. Most recently, she's continued to carry the torch for authentic rockabilly and roots music with releases like Rockabilly Queen on Cleopatra Records.
What makes this performance especially meaningful is Linda Gail's deep connection to Hernando's Hideaway. When she launched her solo career in 1988, her very first residency was right here at Hernando's, performing five nights a week for three years. Now, she's returning to the stage where so much of that journey began.
Don't miss the chance to experience a true music legend in one of Memphis' most historic venues.
