Hailing from the heart of Central Florida, Matchbox Down is the premier high-energy tribute act dedicated to the powerhouse post-grunge and pop-rock sounds of Matchbox Twenty, the solo catalog of Rob Thomas, and the soulful anthems of 3 Doors Down.
Formed by a group of seasoned musicians who grew up on the radio dominance of “3AM”. “Push”, “Unwell”, and more, Matchbox Down delivers spot-on performances that recapture the raw emotion, soaring choruses, and unmistakable grit of these late-’90s/2000s giants. From the anthemic hooks and the introspective storytelling of Matchbox Twenty and Rob Thomas’s smooth, soulful solo hits like “Smooth” and “This is How a Heart Breaks” every show is a full-throttle trip back to the era when modern rock ruled the airwaves.
Matchbox Down brings authentic instrumentation, powerful harmonies, and a stage presence that makes audiences feel like they’re front-row at the originals. Whether you’re screaming along to “Bent”, rock anthems like “Kryptonite” or singing along to ballads like "Here Without You" one night with Matchbox Down and you’ll swear you just saw the real thing—only closer, louder, and with a lot more Florida heat.
Matchbox Down: Keeping the golden age of post-grunge and pop-rock alive, one massive chorus at a time.
