Grandson of country pioneer Hank Williams and the son of outlaw legend Hank Jr., Sam Williams is the latest in a long line of American originals, singing with his own singular voice and writing in his own distinct style—fusing gut-wrenching honesty and plainspoken poetics with raw vulnerability and deep empathy. In 2021, Williams released his debut album Glasshouse Children, a showcase of his brilliant lyricism and soulful vocals that earned rave reviews from Rolling Stone, Music Row, the Associated Press, and more.
Following his debut, Williams continued building momentum with a string of powerful singles and standout live performances. He has since expanded his reach through international touring and has now performed over 20 times at the Grand Ole Opry, further solidifying his place in the genre’s lineage.
He followed up his debut with a series of releases including Act I: Scarlet Lonesome and Act II: COUNTRYSTAR, further showcasing his evolving artistry and perspective. Most recently, he released the powerful and deeply personal track “The River Will Flow,” a song rooted in family and lineage, while continuing to deliver a steady stream of new music.
Sam Williams continues to prove he is forging a legacy entirely his own.
