*** In times that feel uncertain, gathering in song can reconnect us to something steady, hopeful, and deeply human.
Song Church is a joyful community singing experience led by Tucson songwriter and choir director Gabrielle Pietrangelo and her amazing backing band. Together we’ll raise our voices in well-known songs that nourish the heart, lift the spirit, and remind us we belong to one another. Don't worry lyric sheets will be given to everyone!
Inspired by Nick Forster of Etown Radio in Boulder, Colorado and his beloved Hippie Bluegrass Church, Song Church brings that same spirit of community, harmony, and musical connection to Tucson. Expect songs like “Free Falling” and “Will the Circle be Unbroken, "Big Yellow Taxi", "Hey Jude"
and plenty of moments where the churchis filled with the sound of our voices. No religious affiliation, no performance pressure. Just the simple, powerful act of singing together.
Gabrielle has spent over two decades leading singers, from harmony groups and choirs to packed audiences at her concerts and she has a special gift for getting everyone singing. Whether you come to sing loudly or simply soak in the sound, Song Church is a space for connection, joy, and musical medicine.
All voices welcome.
