Susan Marshall headlines her Memphis Spring Showcase jazz brunch with her Memphis band at Hernando’s Hideaway on April 11 and May 9. 12-3PM.
A Memphis-based soulful songstress with jazz, blues, pop, and soul roots. Formerly a lead soprano with Manhattan’s Rep-Company Light Opera, she co-founded The Mother Station (debut album reached #34 on Billboard Mainstream Rock) and has released five solo records. She’s lent backing vocals to Lucinda Williams, Al Green, Lenny Kravitz, and Foy Vance, and has toured with The Afghan Whigs and Cat Power, with TV appearances on Austin City Limits and The Late Show.
