ABOUT TVBOO
Hailing from Jackson, Mississippi, TVBOO (pronounced “taboo”) has solidified himself as one of bass music’s most unmistakable voices. Known for a high-energy sound, his records strike a balance between playful and powerful impact, rooted in driving basslines, bounce, and anthemic vocal samples.
From viral originals to collaborations with the likes of Liquid Stranger, GRiZ, Ganja White Night, and more, TVBOO's growing catalog is a direct showcase of his evolution as a producer.
What sets TVBOO apart isn't a formula or playbook, though — it’s authenticity. The offbeat humor and creative independence are natural extensions of who he is and give the project an identity that can't be manufactured. By leaning into that rather than polishing it away, the level of transparency has translated to an invaluable audience connection.
Whether commanding festival stages, landmark venues, or sold-out headline performances like his Daisy Dukes and Cowboy Boots nationwide tour (2025), a TVBOO set is a full spectrum experience. Packed with explosive energy and tailored production, his performances are unapologetically fun, often including crowd participation.
Beyond the stage, his popular podcast TVLKS with TVBOO has become a staple in the electronic community. Featuring a wide range of industry guests, it mirrors the same candid humor, offering a behind-the-scenes look at dance music culture.
Through his work in and outside of the studio, TVBOO has built an influential and multifaceted presence within the scene, demonstrating that innovation and uncompromising originality are the foundation for leaving a lasting mark.
